Historical outline of the model:

M36 Jackson or Slugger Fighter) is an American tank destroyer from the Second World War. The M36 was introduced into combat in the second half of 1944. Despite such a late deadline, he became famous for destroying a large number of enemy vehicles, especially during the German offensive in the Ardennes. Most of the construction was based on the proven M10, but a typical turret cooperating with the best anti-tank gun M3 cal.90mm from the American arsenal was introduced. Together with the newly introduced new HVAP missiles, it was able to pierce without exception each of the German armor. In fact, the M36 Jackson was the only American armored vehicle capable of handling the German Tigers and Panthers on its own. The result of the effectiveness was high demand and production, which reached 1400 copies in less than a year. After World War II, the M36 was still used during the fighting in Korea, in India’s war with Pakistan, and even in the Balkan conflicts. In addition to the basic version, two others were produced: M36B1 (turret mounted on Sherman's body M4A3) and M36B2 (M10 with M36 turret and diesel engine).
