You have a car imported from the USA (e.g. Ford F-150, Dodge RAM, Jeep) and want to hook up a European trailer or tow truck? In cars from the USA, the stop signal and the “direction indicator” are integrated on one cable, while in Europe the 7-pin standard requires the separation of these signals.

Instructions for assembly:

a) Before connecting the converter to the vehicle, check that all signals in the vehicle are switched off.

b) Connect the converter to the existing US 4-way plug in the vehicle.

c) Insert the second EU plug into the outlet converter.

d) Check that all connections are securely fastened.

e) Check the operation of position lamps, direction indicator lamps and stop lamps

Hint:

If your American vehicle has a 4-pole flat plug and your European trailer has a 7-pole round plug that needs to disconnect the stop and rear signals, use this cable adapter for your trailer.
