With this card you will update your old reader to a new version of the software, which gives you the ability to download data from the new SMART tachographs (4.0) SMART 2 (4,1)
All vehicles registered for the first time in the European Union after 15 June 2019. must be equipped with Smart Tachograph SMART.
With this card, you do not have to buy a second VDO reader that supports smart tachographs. Just update your current VDO DLK PRO reader.
The reader must have the latest software in order for the update process to proceed successfully.
The update process is very simple.
- Read the received license card with a reader just like a driver card
- Progress messages will appear on the display.
After the update, you can read SMART 4.0 tachographs mounted after 15-06-2019.
In order for the reader to read the latest SMART 2 tachographs mounted after 21-08- 2023, you must make a FREE online update.
