Description
The MAGNUM MIG MMA 170 W IGBT series device is a professional semi-automatic welding machine designed for manual, electric welding of low-carbon steel, low-alloy steel (MAG), alloy steel (MIG), as well as aluminum and its alloys. The device can also be used for MMA welding with consumable coated electrodes.
The device has a large, comfortable handle for easy carrying, and its light weight of just over 12 kg and the ability to mount it on a trolley with wheels makes it easier to work in the field. The welder uses a clear digital display that allows you to set basic parameters. On the control panel, you can adjust the welding current value (max. 160 A), inductance, and wire feed speed. The high efficiency of the device at 60% allows for efficient, uninterrupted work, in 10-minute cycles for 6 minutes of continuous welding. Current adjustment in the range of 30 - 160 A. The device uses a 2-roller feeder for 5 kg wire spools. The wire diameter that can be used is 0.6 to 0.8 mm.
The power source is built on IGBT transistors, ensuring minimal electromagnetic interference, enabling increased efficiency and reliability of the power source, lower energy consumption, and instant adjustment of current to changes in parameters during welding.
An additional solution extending the life of the machine is the overload switch, activated in case of overheating of the welder. The device is mounted on a transport trolley, on which you can place a gas cylinder.
The MIG welder is designed for all types of welding work in locksmith workshops, repair shops, the automotive industry, factories, etc.
