✴ PUTTING ON A HALF-MSK

1. Before putting on the half mask, pre-shape the nasal clamp by tightening it, which improves the subsequent adjustment of the half mask to the face.

2. Place the face part so that it covers the mouth and nose.

3. Put the head straps on so that the lower strap covers the neck below the ear and the upper one passes from the back of the head above the ear.

4. Adjust the pre-formed nasal clamp to ensure tightness.

5. Check the correctness of the assumption; put your hands and hold the canopy; blow the air hard; in case of leaks, adjust the position of the canopy, nasal clamp or header tape.

✴ ADJUSTMENT OF THE LENGTH OF THE HEADER STRAPS:

Rough length adjustment – move the tape between the fastening hooks as shown in Figure 2.

You can move the tape several times to significantly reduce the length. In order to extend the tape again, remove the additional tab from the hooks.

Precise adjustment – wind or unwind the tape around individual fastening hooks – Figure 3.

✴ USE AND REUSABLE

• During the use of the half mask, there is an increase in breathing resistance caused by dust deposition. If the user considers that the resistance has increased significantly, the half mask should be replaced with a new one.

• The half mask can be used for more than one 8-hour work shift.

✴ STORAGE

Half masks should be stored at temperatures from -30°C to +50°C and humidity below 70%.

Before using the half mask, check its technical condition: whether its components are not damaged. Half masks damaged and those whose expiration date has been exceeded cannot be used.

Half masks should not be folded and bent. In order to ensure the best tightness of the face part, the method of putting on and fitting half masks should be carried out according to the following scheme:
