Set: half mask 3M 6200 + filters 6001 – for painting and varnishing works

A practical set for respiratory protection when painting and working with varnishes, paints, solvents and other materials emitting organic vapours. The set includes the original, reusable half mask 3M 6200 and replaceable filters 6001, compatible with the bayonet mask attachment system.

Filters 6001 are not a product of 3M. Due to their purpose, they are among the filters used to protect against specific organic pairs and can be used as a compatible solution for half masks of the 3M 6000 series. In terms of application, they can be compared to 3M 6051, but the exact level of protection and compliance with standards should always be checked on the basis of the filter manufacturer’s markings and documentation.

Half mask 3M 6200

3M 6200 is a reusable half mask in medium size, belonging to the 6000 series. It covers the nose and mouth, has adjustable header straps and two side bayonet connectors for mounting replaceable filters.

The dual filter design helps distribute weight evenly and provides a good field of view while working. The half mask can be used multiple times, regularly cleaning its body and replacing filters as needed.

Filters 6001

The set includes 2 interchangeable filters 6001, designed for direct mounting on bayonet half mask connectors.

Filters are designed primarily for applications related to specified organic pairs, which is why the set is particularly useful during painting and varnishing works.

Important: The 6001 filters included in this set are not manufactured by 3M. The reference to the 3M 6051 model is only used to indicate a similar application and compatibility with the corresponding half mask type. It does not imply identical parameters, certification or level of protection.

The kit is ready to be completed: both filters should be mounted on the half mask using a bayonet connection, and before starting work, it is mandatory to check the correct and tight adhesion of the half mask to the face.

Note: The appropriate type of filter should always be selected for a specific substance, its concentration and operating conditions. For aerosols, dust and paint mist, an additional degree of dust/antiparticle filtration may be required. The kit is not intended for use in an oxygen-deficient atmosphere, with an unknown composition or concentration of pollutants or under conditions exceeding the permissible capabilities of the filters used.
