Basic set for sharpening and polishing primarily flat chisels and planer knives made of both carbon steel (non-alloy) and tool steel (alloy).

Includes a guide for sharpening at the existing angle.

Application:

• Due to granulation: for proper sharpening, during which we give the blade the right shape and grind it to achieve the thinnest edge possible.
• Due to abrasive material: for high carbon (non-alloy) steels typical of Japanese tools, also used for the production of Kirschen chisels, as well as for alloy steels used i.a. for the production of Pfeil and Narex tools.
• Due to size/shape: large block for sharpening wide chisels, plow knives, kitchen knives, etc. It can work with all common sharpening guides. The optimum width of the sharpened tools is approx. 60 mm.

• The pad will protect the whetstone from sliding during sharpening.
• Kratka will allow you to regenerate (restore an even surface) whetstone after the work is completed.
• The guide allows you to sharpen at the existing angle of the plow knives, as well as flat chisels up to 70 mm wide.
