Sensory tunnel – pouf - ideal for every child. It is used primarily in the treatment of sensory integration disorders, for children with autism, or Down syndrome and cerebral palsy. It can be used for squeezing, hiding like a hiding place or as a seat. The child can also enter the tunnel, and the person exercising with him can roll, massage or press his body. Many years of experience in sewing products intended for the therapy of sensory integration disorders indicates that sensory tunnels are even necessary in specialized offices or in exercise rooms.

We sew tunnels from strong colored leather. The tunnel is filled with durable polystyrene granules.

The fabrics we use are Oeko-Tex® certified. Styrofoam granules are certified by the National Institute of Hygiene.

Tunnel cleaning is done on a daily basis by wiping with a wet cloth or sponge, and occasionally by washing in the shower. The material is waterproof, resistant to scratches. It is characterized by low phthalate content.

The sensory tunnel made of skaj is designed for facilities with high patient turnover and complying with strict hygienic requirements. For home use we recommend sensory tunnels made of cotton, available at our other auctions, both in the regular version and opened with a removable cover.

Filling: EPS Styrofoam granules are a lightweight, resilient and plastic filling that adapts to the body, providing comfort and support while sitting, resting or playing. Most of its volume is air, making it safe even for children and easy to carry. Despite its lightness, it provides stable support for the spine, legs and arms.

The granules are PZH certified, harmless to health and allergy friendly. It has a natural tendency to knead during use, which is normal and results from the specifications of this type of filling.

Maintenance: ongoing wiping with damp cloth or cleaning with specialized chemicals intended for this type of material.
