Prekė: Septiko lygio jutiklis, lietaus vandeniui, su WiFi, el. paštu ir Android programėle, 4 lygiai. Kategorija: Jutikliai.

  • Gamintojas: no brand
  • Modelis: 4level-cloud v1

The 4level cloud is a wireless liquid level sensor that you mount over the tank and check the level from your phone — no opening the lid, no peeking, no guessing.

The measurement is performed by millimeter radar: contactlessly, without contact with liquid, with an accuracy of ±1 cm in the range from 20 cm to 10 meters. The data goes via Wi-Fi to the panel in the browser and to the Android application.

You mount the radar under the cover, it measures the distance with a radio wave — nothing is submerged, nothing requires periodic removal or cleaning. When the level exceeds the threshold set by you – you get a notification with vibration and an e-mail. No more unexpected overflow of the septic tank.

The device is powered by four AA batteries. Assembly takes about 5 minutes. No subscription or monthly fees — panel and app are included in the price of the device.

In which tanks:

✅Septic tank / drainless tank — alarm before overflow, plus information in advance when to order a slurry tanker.

✅Rainwater tank — you know how much water is left for watering or flushing.

✅Well — monitoring of groundwater level,

✅Other water tanks.

The sensor measures the distance to the liquid mirror, so it works with any liquid. In the panel you specify the depth of the tank, and if you want – also its dimensions and shape (rectangular, cylindrical, oblique). Then the level is converted not only into percentages, but also into cubic meters.

What 4level can do

➡ Radar measurement without contact with liquid — FMCW 24 GHz radar, range 0,2 to 10 m, accuracy ±1 cm. Nothing is submerged in the tank, nothing is overgrown with sediment.

➡ Notifications and e-mail – you set the alarm threshold as a percentage, the phone informs immediately after exceeding it. In addition, you will be notified when the sensor stops connecting and when the battery is on depletion.

➡ Fill Forecast — The panel analyzes the history of measurements and calculates how much time is left for a full tank. You order the export when it suits you, not in a panic.

➡ Panel in browser — charts, history, configuration. It works on Android, iPhone and PC without installing anything.

➡ Android app — the current level on the home screen of your phone, without opening the app. A separate widget for each sensor.

➡ Integration with Home Assistant via MQTT — entities detected automatically, without manual configuration.

➡ Multiple devices in one account — several tanks or several properties on a common map.

➡ Battery status preview — you know in advance when to replace your AA kit.

➡ IP67 housing – complete dustproof and water immersion resistance, stainless steel screws and brass bushings. Waterproof radar.

Assembly in 5 minutes

  1. Install the housing above the tank. Plastic cover — screw the radar module with screws. Metal or cast iron cover – the module has a built-in neodymium magnet, just attach it and point vertically down to the surface of the liquid.
  2. Insert batteries. Four alkaline AAs to cart inside case(batteries not included). Close the lid — the housing is tight, IP67 rated.
  3. Connect to Wi-Fi. The sensor starts its own 4level-XXXX network. You connect to it with your phone, select your home network and enter your password. You do this once – the data is stored.
  4. Add the device and set the alarm. You register an account in the panel, enter the 4-character code from the sticker on the housing, enter the depth of the tank and the alarm threshold. Ready.
  5. Wi-Fi coverage. If the signal at the tank is very weak, use a signal amplifier (repeater) or a higher gain antenna. You can also extend the radar module cable and position the enclosure closer to the router.

Application and web panel

The panel works in every browser – on your phone, tablet and computer. You will find the current level, full history of measurements on the chart, fill forecast, alarm threshold and measurement interval settings, and a map of all your sensors.

Android owners can additionally install the 4level application: the same data as in the panel, push notifications with vibration and – most conveniently – widget on the home screen with the current tank level. One look at the phone and you know what the situation is.

For users Home Assistant

4level publishes data via MQTT with support for automatic detection (discovery). After adding MQTT integration and entering the server data – available in the device details in the panel – Home Assistant will recognize the sensor itself and create all the entities: percentage level, volume, alarm status, battery voltage, Wi-Fi signal strength and others.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the sensor work in winter? Yes. The device is designed for year-round outdoor installation – IP67 housing, radar module works from −40 °C. The range of −20 °C given for the control panel is due to the limitations of alkaline batteries, not electronics. If you live in an area with harsh winters, use AA lithium batteries (Li/FeS₂, e.g. Energizer Ultimate Lithium) — operate up to −40 °C, have lower internal resistance and better tolerate frost.

Do I have to be a professional to install this? No. Assembly takes about 5 minutes: screw or apply the case (magnet), insert batteries and provide Wi-Fi data from your phone.

Does the radar have to touch the liquid? No. The measurement is completely touchless – the module hangs above the liquid mirror and measures the distance to it. Nothing submerges and nothing overgrows the sediment. The minimum installation distance from the liquid surface is 20 cm.

What Wi-Fi do I need? 2,4 GHz (5 GHz) networks are not supported. If the signal at the tank is weak, a regular Wi-Fi amplifier will help. The radar module cable can also be extended and the housing can be positioned closer to the router.

How long do batteries last? The sensor is factory set to measure every 6 hours – on a set of four alkaline AAs, this is enough for about 4 years. You can change the interval in the panel, and the working time depends on it:

  • Measurement every 1 hour — around 1,5
  • Measurement every 3 hours — about 3 years
  • measurement every 6 hours (factory setting) — about 4 years
  • Measurement every 12 hours — approximately 4 to 5 years

For a septic tank, measuring every 6 hours is enough – the tank is filled on a scale of days and weeks, and the alarm will work at the first measurement after exceeding the threshold. Above 12 hours, further extension of the interval does not give much, because the life is determined by the natural aging of the battery. The values given are indicative – with poor Wi-Fi coverage, the sensor establishes a connection longer, which reduces the working time.

Are the panel and application paid? No. Access to the web panel and Android apps is included in the price of the device.

Does it work on iPhone? Yes — through the web panel in the browser. On your iPhone in Safari, add a panel to your home screen to receive push notifications.

Can I have multiple sensors? Yes. You can handle multiple devices in one account – on one or more properties. Each with separate settings and a separate widget on your phone.
