The main components of the recuperator are

The recuperator operates in two cycles of 75 seconds each:

➡ In the first cycle warm and polluted air is exhausted from the room, heating and humidifying the ceramic heat exchanger

➡ In the second cycle, the wall recuperator delivers cool and fresh air from the outside, which is heated and humidified by a ceramic heat exchanger.

In this way, the wall recuperator ensures optimal temperature and humidity in the room.

Thanks to the sensor, the recuperator can be automated based on the level of relative humidity in the room (RH).

For example, the recuperator can be configured to draw air out of the room after exceeding a certain RH humidity value until the sensor reading drops to the desired level.

When the recuperator is turned off, the shutter at the front closes automatically, effectively blocking the supply of cold air from the outside.

The recuperator can be controlled by pilot or via the Tuya application. The remote control allows you to choose the operating mode, fan speed and boost mode.

➡ Supply mode recuperator supplies fresh and clean air from the outside, ensuring adequate ventilation and air quality in the room. The supply mode is recommended on warm days when we want to cool and refresh the interior.

➡ Regeneration mode the device uses a ceramic heat exchanger to recover heat and moisture from the exhaust air. The regeneration mode is recommended on cold days when we want to warm and moisturize the interior, while saving energy.

➡ Exhaust mode used and polluted air is extracted from the room, removing unpleasant odors and harmful substances. Exhaust mode is recommended in situations where we need to quickly get rid of excess moisture, smoke or odor.

In the supply and exhaust mode, the recuperator works all the time - the cyclicality of work described earlier works only in the regeneration mode

The AV-TTW5-W recuperator is easy and quick to install. Just drill a hole in the wall, place a telescopic pipe in it and screw the mounting plate. Then apply the recuperator main unit to the mounting plate, and the strong magnet will automatically attract it.

It remains to connect the power supply and the wall recuperator is ready for use!

The device is equipped with a telescopic pipe, which you can easily fit to the thickness of the wall. The pipe has a minimum length of 27.5 cm and a maximum length of 43 cm and ensures a tight connection between the recuperator and the hole in the wall.

The seal shown in the instructional video and in the instructions is not required, because the space between the wall and the recuperator pipe must be filled with foam!

Most similar devices only offer a basic G3 filter.

In our recuperator there is also an efficient F7 filter, which has much greater air purification capabilities.

The G3 filter is designed to pre-catch larger pollutants, while the F7 filter thoroughly cleans the air of fine particles, pollen or even viruses.

White smooth housing with discreetly placed keys fits into any interior. Thoughtful design is also visible in the placement and brightness of LEDs indicating the current operating mode and fan speed - they are not conspicuous, and their light does not distract and does not offend the eyes.

The AV-TTW5-W recuperator can operate at four speeds, which can be adapted to different needs and conditions:

➡ Low speed - quiet and economical, provides basic ventilation and air exchange. Perfect for a night or a time of absence.

➡ Average speed - efficient and comfortable, guarantees optimal ventilation and air quality. Recommended during the day or during normal user activity.

➡ High speed - intensive and effective, allows maximum ventilation and air exchange. High speed is recommended in situations where we need to quickly refresh or warm the interior.

Boost Mode

It allows you to increase the intensity of the fan over the standard speeds for approx. 30 minutes. Boost mode is recommended in situations where we need to get rid of excess moisture, smoke or odor very quickly

Noise level

On each of the three modes we measured the noise level from a distance of 1 and 3 meters, here are the results obtained:

➡ Low speed 1 meter: 20 dB, 3 meters: 19 dB

➡ Average speed 1 meter: 29 dB, 3 meters: 27.5 dB

➡ High speed 1 meter: 32.7 dB, 3 meters: 31 dB

Low speed operation generates noise of approx. 20dB - which is comparable to the volume of forest noise (according to the CIOP classification - Central Institute for Labour Protection)

The AV-TTW5-W wall recuperator can work in tandem with a second device of the same model, creating a ventilation system for a larger room or two rooms.

When recuperators are connected, they work synchronously - when one blows air, the other blows. One of the wall recuperators then becomes the “main” and the control of both devices is done through it.
