Coverlock Bernette B48 FUNLOCK combines the function of an overlock (2, 3, 4 and 5-thread) and a renderer (lining machine) sewing with 3 and 4-needle ladder stitches with a lower interlacing. It also has the ability to sew with chain stitch and rolling stitch (mereżka). Bernette B48 has a high work culture and ease of use. The bottom gripper and chain gripper have a mechanical threader. The knife is operated from the bottom, which provides not only a cleanly trimmed edge but also an easy way to turn it off. Bernette 48 is ideal for sewing underwear, knitted clothing or Lycra dance outfits

Choose from 23 stitch programs:

● three-needle ladder stitch with a width of 5,6 mm – ideal for rolling up elastic materials, finishing all types of knitwear.

● chain stitch – for joining layers of material. We use as a fast-rig stitch.

● 5-thread stitch - overlock wide and narrow (combo),

● 4-thread stitch – reinforced overlock stitch.

● 3-thread stitch – wide and narrow overlock stitch, also used for decorative techniques.

● 2-thread stitch – rolling edge or flat, narrow or wide.

● edge rolling stitch – 2 or 3-thread roll-ups with edge rolling.

Snap foot attachment
