The Singer brand is one of the most recognizable when it comes to manufacturers of sewing machines and overlocks. It is not surprising that some people, looking for their first machine, decide on the products of this company. One of the devices that is worth considering as a universal, home overlock from Singer is the HD0405s model, which in two words can be described as strong and fast.

An undoubted advantage of the Singer HD overlock is the sewing speed of up to 1300 punctures per minute. This machine offers the possibility of sewing one or two needles, in six available stitches: 2-, 3- and 4-thread, including rolling. The advantage of the overlock is fast switching between overlock stitch and mere, without the need to change the foot and stitch plate.

A great convenience for the user is undoubtedly the adjustment of the foot pressure, as well as the adjustment of differential transport – it is thanks to it that it is much easier to sew knitwear, silk and elastic materials. Moreover, by setting the tension of the thread, it is possible to obtain additional stitches, for example, such as a flat seam, or flatlock.

One of the advantages of overlock is the simplicity of threading. The device has a color-coded order and direction of threading, which greatly facilitates this process, especially for less experienced users. Free arm in turn allows for easier hemming of such fragments of clothes as legs or sleeves. For the convenience of the user, field lighting is used, in the form of an energy-saving, single-point LED. This versatile overlock is not only suitable for homework, but it can also be successfully used in the sewing studio.
