✅PRESSURE SWITCH FOR SK-6A MALE PUMP

➡ The SK-6A male pressure switch acts as a control for the operation of a hydrophore or submersible pump, especially in combination with a tank.

➡ After installation and tuning, the switch starts or turns off the pump motor depending on the current pressure in the system. Thanks to this solution, the pump motor does not work non-stop, which ensures optimal functioning of the hydrophore set.

➡ Installation of the pressure switch is extremely easy. It is enough to fix it in a designated place, for example, at the discharge output of a five-way output.

➡ To connect the wires, remove the gray plastic housing (this solution is hooked by unscrewing the screw). The diameter of the connection stub is 1/4 inch, and the tip is male thread (marked as GZ).

➡ Thanks to simple installation the use of a pressure switch becomes convenient and pleasant. The switch has knobs for manual adjustment of pressure settings. These regulatory elements are placed under the gray housing.

➡ The switch allows adjustment of the pressure at which the switching takes place, in the range from 1,2 to 2,6 Bar, while for switching off the pressure, this range is from 2,1 to 5 Bar. Thanks to this, the user has full control over the operating parameters of the pressure switch.

1. Set the set on a stable substrate, in a dry place protected against frost.
2. Connect the suction hose, terminated with a suction basket with a check valve. Take care of the tightness of all connections.
3. Install pressure gauge and pressure switch — on a five-way connector or directly in the pump body, depending on the model. Seal the threads with Teflon tape or tows.
4. Connect the pump to the tank with the appropriate hose, and connect the discharge output to the receiving system.
5. Connect the pump to the pressure switch. The pump cable is cut into two sections: one comes out of the engine and the other is terminated with a plug. Enter both sections through the switch culverts. Connect L and N conductors from the motor to the pump terminals, and L and N conductors from the plug to the power terminals. Connect the yellow-green PE conductors of both sections to the protective clamps. Follow the scheme of the switch. Tighten clamps and culverts and close the housing. Do all the steps with the plug removed from the outlet.
6. Pour and vent the pump and suction hose, then start the kit and check the tightness and operation of the switch.

1. Turn off the pump and disconnect the power. Open the flood hole or connection shown in the illustration.
2. Fill the pump and suction line with clean water. Add slowly until the system is full and the water level stops dropping.
3. Close the flood hole tightly or restore the discharge connection if the flooding was carried out through a connector or a five-way connector.
4. Open the tap on the discharge side and start the pump. Observe the water flow and pressure gauge.
5. If the pump does not draw water, turn it off and flood the system again. Repeat the action if necessary. If the problem persists, check the tightness of the suction line and check valve.

IMPORTANT! Do not allow the pump to run dry. Pour and vent before the first start and after each longer break in use.
