The milling mechanism after delivering the branches to the cutter will pull and shred this branch itself. Such a system is called automatic and if the branches are devoid of leaves, then all the work is done without the use of a pusher - this is a great convenience, but also safety for the operator. A big advantage of the gear shaft is relatively quiet operation. The gear head rotates several times slower in relation to the knife, therefore, during crushing vibrations and noise are much smaller, which greatly affects the comfort of work.
