DOG GPS X30 is a device used to track (locate) dogs up to 20 km. The kit consists of a transmitter located on a dog collar and a GPS receiver with a recording function (portable device), on which the guide can track the distance and direction in which his dog is located. The transmitter obtains positions from the GPS satellite, and then the position data is transmitted to the portable device via radio waves. The receiver can be connected to an phone or even an iOS and Android tablet via the free DOGTRACE GPS application in Polish, thanks to which we get even more functions. Up to 13 locators can be connected to the portable device simultaneously (any DOGTRACE collar model accepted). All paired locators are applied and displayed on the map in the app. High GPS sensitivity allows you to quickly locate and search for dogs in the forest.

TRANSMITTER (GPS COLLAR FOR DOG)

DOGTRACE X30 dog collar made of BioThane material in collective color with a width of 24mm, which is extremely easy to clean and waterproof. In addition, the material is antibacterial and antifungal. Equipped with radio antenna and GPS, it can communicate with mobile device and satellite. The red semicircular dot indicates the location of the magnetic switch. Adjustable length from 32 cm to 63 cm will allow both medium and larger hunting dogs to wear. Effortless, easy and quick pairing of devices will satisfy any guide. The FENCE function, i.e. the virtual border, is very helpful if we want to receive a notification when the dog leaves the designated area. Detection of barking will help us to locate the place and time of barking. Another convenience for foresters or hunters is the BEEPER option to distinguish the movement intensity of the dog or its presence next to the forest game.

With free space between the transmitter and the receiver, the operating range can be up to 20 km. GPS precision and maximum range are determined by many factors such as weather, terrain, vegetation, etc. Please note that the collar must not be too loose or too tightly compressed. Poor collar fastening can result in numerous abrasions of the animal's skin or problems with breathing or eating. Waterproof GPS transmitter with rechargeable battery can withstand up to 50 hours of operation on a single charge.

RECEIVER (PORTABLE GPS DEVICE)

High-quality radio antenna and GPS antenna will allow you to exactly determine the distance and direction of the guide from the dog. A clear display of the GPS receiver will allow for great visibility of information in the dark and directly during the operation of the sun. Using the GPS receiver is adapted to one-handed operation through its small size and intuitive menu. This professional device works with up to 13 locators simultaneously. The portable receiver is equipped with many useful functions such as tracking, compass, FENCE, WAYPOINT, BEEPER, CAR mode and connecting to the DOGTRACE GPS application.

The display is divided into 3 parts:

• Receiver information panel - battery indicator, GPS position accuracy, compass, BEEPER and FENCE status.
• Main navigation panel - provides up-to-date information about the selected transmitter. The arrow indicates the direction in which the dog is being tracked. In the middle you can see the exact distance between the guide and the animal. Other dogs are displayed when the ↑ / ↓ buttons are pressed.
• Transmitter information panel - displays data about the next paired transmitter in a row, its battery status, radio signal strength and GPS.

Long working time is possible thanks to built-in, high-quality cells. Access to the popular receiver charging connector is facilitated and safe, is also often used in similar devices from other manufacturers. Just attach the charging clip with current conductive pins to the bottom of the receiver housing. The full charge time is approximately about 3 hours. Low current saves the battery from rapid discharge after a long time of use. The manual device (orange GPS signal receiver) does not have maps - it indicates the distance and direction from the pet.

FUNCTIONS OF DOG GPS X30

Tracking is possible thanks to built-in GPS receivers and transmitters that determine their positions. The radio signal will clarify the direction and distance of the dog from the guide.

Compass - indicating the north. The symbol N indicates the direction of the magnetic north. When two arrows light up at the same time, the north direction is between them.

FENCE - virtual border. The FENCE function alerts you with a notification in the app when your dog crosses the boundary of the designated space in the device. The distance of the pet can be adjusted from 30 m to a maximum of 2 km from the receiver. This feature is active for each dog separately.

WAYPOINT - saving the position of the receiver.

BEEPER - a function programmed specifically for hunters showing where and at what time the dog stopped or moved. There are 7 different types of notifications to choose from, including: sound, backlight, vibration.

CAR mode - car body and electronics can negatively affect the correct operation of the receiver. During the operation of this mode, the direction of the collar is not determined by a digital compass, but by changing the position of the GPS receiver.

DOGTRACE GPS APPLICATION

The biggest advantage of DOG GPS X30 is the ability to wirelessly connect the receiver to a mobile phone or tablet. All paired devices can be viewed and controlled from the phone. The maps built into the application can work even when offline.

The entered data is automatically updated in the receiver. Thanks to extended control over collars via smartphone increased the affordability and intuitiveness of the device , for example, through carefully tracked dog movement on GPS. The motifs used are legible in high sunlight and at night.

The software is available for both iOS and Android phones and tablets. The application can also be installed on the most popular smartwatch models. To pair the receiver with the phone, simply enter the PIN code of the device at the end of the user manual (in the product packaging).
