The irfix QUICKBUILD F-35B Lightning II is a single-person, single-engine supersonic jet that features advanced technology and modern connectivity capabilities, as well as masking capabilities that make it difficult for enemy radars to detect. The F-35B variant has a lifting fan mounted behind the cockpit, which gives the possibility of quick take-off and vertical landing (STOVL) – this aircraft can float like a Hawker Siddeley Harrier. In collaboration with Typhoon, the F-35 can operate from land, but most importantly, it also flies from two new Royal Navy Queen Elizabeth landing sites.
