IDEAL PRAKTIK MIG 140 SYNERGIC LED

is an inverter semi-automatic welding machine designed for arc welding by the following method:

➡ FLUX / FCAW - self-shielding wire welding. This is a similar welding process as MIG/MAG but does not require a gas cylinder. On the wire there is a thin layer of powder, which at the time of arc formation produces gas covering the working area.

➡ TIG LIFT DC - welding with a non-consumable electrode ( tungsten ) in an inert gas ( Argon ) shield using an additional handle. In TIG DC Lift mode, the arc is ignited when the electrode touches the welded element (the button in the handle does not ignite the arc, the gas is connected directly from the reducer to the handle and is regulated by a valve on the handle grip) . In TIG Lift DC mode, the current is constant.

➡ MMA - classic welding with wrapped electrodes (rutile, alkaline, acidic).

The PRAKTIK MIG 140 SYNERGIC LED welder has a readable and easy to use function panel, which has i.a.:

1 – Wire diameter selector button (FLUX)

2 – Mode selector button (FLUX only): 2T, 4T

In the MMA method, it allows you to enable or disable the VRD function.

3 – Welding method selection button: FLUX, MMA, TIG LIFT

In addition, with this button you can check wire feeding. Then you need to push and hold.

4 – Display of main welding parameters:

The left side of the display shows the arch voltage.

The right side of the display shows the welding current.

5 – Parameter adjustment knob:

The left/right knob movement changes the value of the parameter. One-time pressing causes switching between parameters – current and voltage.

If the knob is held for a few seconds, then the welding current parameter will switch to adjusting the wire feed speed.

✔ SYNERGY - is a very helpful feature available in professional welding equipment of PREMIUM class. By setting the appropriate program or entering parameters, the device will independently select most welding settings, such as wire feed speed or appropriate voltage, according to the programmed data.

✔ TWO-BAR 2T - pressing the button initiates gas outflow and welding current, releasing the button turns off welding current and gas outflow.

✔ FOUR-BAR 4T - pressing and releasing the handle button initiates gas outflow and welding current, re-pressing and releasing the button turns off the welding current and gas outflow.

✔ VRD - is a voltage reduction system whose task is to turn off the power supply within a few milliseconds after welding. This function is also responsible for reducing the voltage on the wrapped electrode to a safe level.

✔ INVERTER TECHNOLOGY IGBT - is a modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an isolated gate. It combines the ease of control of field transistors with high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology has the effect of significantly extending the reliable operation of welding equipment.

It protects the user from harmful radiation generated during welding and from sparks and chipping. A special sensor placed in the filter cartridge automatically identifies the start of the welding process, triggering the self-blackout function.
