Product Description

The Sekonic Studio Deluxe III L-398A is the successor to the iconic L-398 meter, which debuted in the 50s. Twentieth century and quickly became the industry standard. The device uses a sensitive selene photovoltaic cell, which generates electricity under the influence of light, eliminating the need for any batteries. This solution not only ensures failure-free and ready to work at any time, but is also environmentally friendly.

The meter offers two basic measurement methods. The rotation of the Lumisphere dome allows you to measure the light falling on the object, which is crucial in studio and portrait photography. Hiding the dome and exposing the flat diffuser Lumidisc, in turn, allows you to measure the light reflected from the photographed scene. Thanks to this, one compact tool works in all lighting conditions.

Operation of the device is intuitive and extremely fast. After the measurement, a large hand on the scale shows the number of EVs, which is then transferred to a clear exposure calculator. With it, you can read all possible combinations of shutter speed and aperture in seconds. The set also includes a High Slide disc for measuring in very bright conditions, which further extends the usefulness of the meter.
