The Sone Smart One temperature sensor with LCD screen is a practical device for monitoring temperature and humidity in your home, garage, warehouse, refrigerator or technical rooms. Thanks to the external probe with a length of 96 cm you can simultaneously control the ambient temperature and temperature in a specific place – e.g. when installed, in the refrigerator or outside.

The device connects directly to the 2,4 GHz WiFi network, therefore does not require an additional gateway or additional intermediate devices. All measurements are available in the Tuya Smart / Smart Life app, where you can check temperature history, set alarms and create smart home automations.

The large LCD screen allows you to quickly read the most important information without reaching for your phone. The wired probe allows you to measure the temperature outside the device housing, making the sensor suitable for e.g. in the refrigerator, by the window, outside the building or in hard-to-reach places.

The probe has a length of 96 cm, which allows you to conveniently output temperature measurement without having to carry the entire device. Thanks to this, the main unit can remain in a dry place, and the probe itself can measure the temperature at another point.

The probe is resistant to moisture and splashes, so it can also be used for short-term measurement of water temperature, e.g. in an aquarium or container.

Home screen and measurement history

The large LCD screen allows you to quickly check all the most important information without having to open the app. The display constantly shows hour, battery level, WiFi connection status, ambient temperature and humidity, and the temperature of the external probe.

Additional screen backlighting can be activated with the button located at the top of the device. The function is especially useful in the evening or in darker rooms, where the standard screen may be less visible.

In the Tuya Smart / Smart Life application, you can view all measurements in one place. You can quickly check the temperature from the probe, ambient temperature and humidity without switching between different screens.

The history of measurements is presented in the form of clear charts divided into day, month and year, which makes it easier to observe changes in temperature and humidity over time.

Important: data in history is saved as hourly average, regardless of the set sampling rate of the device.

Export data to Excel

The sensor enables convenient export of measurement history to an Excel file, which is sent directly to the specified e-mail address. This allows you to store data outside of the app or analyze it on your computer.

The exported file contains the most important information:

• ambient temperature
• humidity
• date and time of measurement

The data is saved in the form of a transparent table, which facilitates their further analysis, filtering and creating your own statements.

Important: values are recorded as hourly averages, regardless of the set sampling rate of the device.

The function will work especially well with longer temperature and humidity monitoring – e.g. at home, pantry, garage or during inspection of storage conditions.

Alerts and notifications

The device allows you to set separate alarm thresholds for temperature, humidity and external temperature of the probe. This allows you to react quickly to changes in conditions without constantly checking the application.

After exceeding the set values, the sensor sends a push notification to the phone, thanks to which you immediately receive information about the temperature or humidity change.

The alarm function will work especially when monitoring the temperature in the refrigerator, outside the building, in the pantry or rooms exposed to large changes in temperature and humidity.

Settings and calibration

The Tuya Smart / Smart Life app allows you to adjust the sensor to your needs and environmental conditions in detail. All settings are available directly from your phone.

Calibration of measurements

Calibration allows you to correct device indications if the measurements differ from another thermometer or reference device.

Calibration range:

Example: if the device shows 25°C and the actual temperature is 24°C – just set the correction -1°C.

Sensitivity of measurements

Sensitivity determines how much temperature or humidity change must occur for the device to update the result and save the new value.

Available settings:

Sampling – how often the device measures

The sampling rate can be set from 1 to 120 minutes.

This setting determines how often the device performs the measurement and updates the data in the app. However, it does not affect the history of measurements – data is still saved as average hours

Smart Scenes and Automations

The sensor works with the **Tuya Smart / Smart Life** automation system, allowing it to control **other smart home devices based on temperature, humidity**, or battery level.

In the app, you can create custom scenes and set actions for specific conditions, such as:

Adding a device to the app

The process of adding the device:

• Insert 3 AAA batteries into the device
• Turn on Bluetooth and location on your phone
• Click “Add Device” in the app
• hold the button on the top of the device for about 5 to 7 seconds until the device enters pairing mode
• application will automatically detect the sensor
• select a 2,4 GHz WiFi network and enter your password

After adding, the device will immediately start sending the ambient temperature, humidity and temperature of the external probe to the application.
