The filter is designed to separate the AUDIO signal flowing from the RADIO to the AMPLIFIER from any

car interference. If, after connecting an additional amplifier to the radio, the signal from it is disturbed - usually it is

caused by the so-called ground loop. The best solution is to connect both the amplifier and the radio to one

common ground point (preferably the negative terminal of the battery). If there is no way to do it, we have a situation when

a potential difference may arise between the masses of the radio and the amplifier - and a current-interference begins to flow between them.

This is 99% the cause of interference - humming, chirping hums, etc. What's more, signals can flow through such a ground loop,

that you won't even hear about frequencies beyond the hearing range.

Unfortunately, they load the amplifier and waste its power.
