❓ FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Can the pump run without water (dry)?

No. Although the pump has an intelligent dry operation protection that will automatically stop the device in the absence of water, starting the pump without water in the long run can damage the impeller or ceramic axle. If the pump turns off due to lack of water, replenish the water and reconnect it to the current to reset the system.

2. How often should I clean the pump?

We recommend cleaning the filter housing once a month (or more often if you notice a decrease in flow efficiency). Cleaning involves removing the filter basket and rinsing the ga under running water using a soft brush. In case of intensive use, the impeller itself and the pump chamber should also be cleaned regularly according to the instruction manual.

3. Can the pump be left in the pond for the winter?

Not if there is a risk of freezing water around the pump. For the winter period, we recommend removing the pump from the water, thoroughly cleaning it, check for damage and store it at a positive temperature (protected against frost). It is best to store it in a container filled with clean water, which prevents the seals from drying out. Important: Never immerse the power plug in water!
