Ubiquiti UA-Ultra is a compact, advanced NFC access reader with built-in hub, designed as part of the UniFi Access system to control entry through single doors without the need for a separate controller. The device combines the functions of a reader and a control element, simplifying the installation and operation of an access control system in commercial, office or residential facilities.

The key distinguishing features of UA-Ultra are resistance to manipulation and external conditions (IP55) and the possibility of direct control of the electric strike or lock (12 V DC, 1 A) with one lock clamp. The device also has an exit request input, which allows you to connect the exit button to open the door from the inside.

Access is implemented by NFC cards compliant with numerous standards (ISO 14443A/B, 15693, MIFARE Classic/Plus/Ultralight/DESFire) and using the UniFi Identity Mobile App (Mobile Unlock), which gives flexibility when authenticating users.

UA-Ultra communicates via Ethernet RJ45 with PoE+ power supply, so installation is simplified and wiring is kept to a minimum. Thanks to the construction of polycarbonate and aluminum alloy and a wide operating temperature range from -30 °C to 40 °C, the device works both inside and outside buildings while maintaining high reliability.
