GS is a voluntary quality mark for manufacturers. The procedure for granting it shall include safety tests that go beyond the product checks required by the legislation. GS safety markings are given to ready-to-use products, e.g. machinery, electrical and household appliances, tools and toys. A product bearing the GS mark, if used correctly, does not present any danger to the user. Compliance is verified by independent testing centres such as TÜV SÜD.

210D PA (Polyamide) 210D PA. Tight fabric, very solid despite the strength below 210D. Tear and abrasion resistant, tight to 1 500 mm, yet lightweight. The letter D stands for denier, which determines the weight of the fiber. 600D corresponds to 600 grams per 9000 m. PA stands for polyamide. PA fibers are extremely durable and resistant to abrasion. They are also characterized by high flexibility and low weight.
