- Determine the center of the humps.
- Measure the distance from the center to the center of the hump at the top of the steering wheel.
- Measure the distance from the center to the center of the hump at the bottom of the steering wheel.
- Measure the thickness of the hump around the perimeter.
- Measure the length of the hump.
- Measure the thickness of the handlebar behind the hump in a uniform part.
- Measure the circumference of the steering wheel on the outside.
1. Apply the cover to the handlebars in such a way that the skin is combined at the bottom and in the middle of the steering wheel. The cover is sewn from shoulder to shoulder, at the beginning you need to measure the appropriate length of the thread attached to the set. About this is twice as much as the section to hem, i.e. from shoulder to shoulder.
2. We start at the shoulder, inserting the needle from the inside of the skin.
3. We sew the steering wheel, interweaving the thread through every second stitch, making S-shaped movements. Please note that we only hook on the thread without puncture of the skin.
4. We pull the thread in such a way that the edge of the skin joins nicely.
