Aqara Hub M3 for Home Automation, Matter Controller

Main features:

• [Multifunctional control panel with Matter Bridge] M3 is a universal control panel supporting Aqara Zigbee devices (ne Zigbee devices from other companies) and devices with the Thread protocol. Allows integration of third-party devices into the Aqara Home application (currently only for selected types of devices, planned extension). It supports advanced Matter Bridge features and allows you to synchronize exclusive Aqara scenes and signals with Matter ecosystems such as Home Assistant for seamless integration. Supports up to 127 Aqara Zigbee devices and 127 Thread devices (requires repeater).
• [Edge and on-premises automation support] M3 acts as an Edge control panel and prefers local control and automation. Once integrated, it replaces existing Aqara PBXs and moves automation to on-premises traffic (*some cloud-based notifications still require internet). It is ready for upgrades and supports migration of Zigbee devices from legacy Aqara locations. (For Matter and HomeKit, reconfiguration is required; cloud integration, such as Google Home and Alexa, retains all settings. )
• Intelligent IR blaster with response and learning: The 360° IR blaster not only sends commands, but also provides accurate status information through detection with ordinary remote controls. It connects the IR air conditioner to the Matter and acts as a thermostat when paired with the Aqara temperature and humidity sensor. (Note: Only one AC device can be connected to Matter. Functionality may vary depending on the Matter integration application. To connect to Apple Home, use the Matter integration instead of HomeKit. )
• [Optimal Wired and Wireless Connectivity] The M3 offers a solution with wired and wireless connectivity and provides dual-band Wi-Fi (2,4/5 GHz) with advanced WPA3 security, as well as a Power Over Ethernet (PoE) port. (*2A USB charging adapter not included. )
• [Privacy Orientation with Encrypted Memory] M3 emphasizes data protection without including a microphone or camera. It has 8 GB of local storage with end-to-end encryption for device lists, configuration parameters, and automation configuration data. In addition, it includes a bracket and screws for flexible placement on flat surfaces, walls or ceilings. Magic Pair technology provides easy detection of the Aqara Home app when turned on.
