IR 10" de-ironing cartridge
The cartridges are filled with a fine-grained catalytic bed (certified by the US NSF agency)
- remove iron and manganese compounds from the water
- prevent the formation of rust stains
- partially remove mechanical contaminants
The cartridge has been designed by UST-M engineers in a way that allows maximum time of contact of water with the bed. Water flows through the cartridge axially (from bottom to top), staying in contact with the filter bed longer. This fact, combined with the catalytic abilities of the deposit, means that water after passing through the cartridge is deprived of virtually all iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide ions.
Thanks to this, the problem of rust stains on the fittings, metallic taste of water and unpleasant smell of rotten eggs will be reduced.
