The device consists of:

1. Level sensor, which is mounted in the tank. The sensor communicates wirelessly (LoRa) with the LCD display.
2. LCD display (wirelessly connects to the sensor) - receiver/transmitter, which serves as a bridge between the sensor and the WiFi router. The display is installed in the room (it cannot be exposed to weather conditions) within the range of the WiFi signal. The display communicates radio with the level sensor.
3. Two 5VDC power supplies, 1A - to power the level sensor and to the LCD display
4. Phone app - TUYA or Smart Life - downloadable, free, from Google Play Store or App Store

LoRa (short for Long Range)

The sensor uses advanced LoRa technology to communicate with the LCD display, which guarantees stability and complete reliability of data transmission even in difficult terrain conditions.

What is LoRa technology?

LoRa (Long Range) is an innovative standard for long-range wireless radio communication. It is designed specifically for intelligent systems, where reliable transmission of information over long distances with minimal power consumption is crucial.

Advantage over RF433

• Range: Standard RF433 MHz modules usually offer a range of several to several hundred meters. LoRa beats them on the head, offering a much greater range with the same transmitting power
• Receiver sensitivity: LoRa can receive a signal that is well below the noise level, which is impossible with simple RF433 modules
• Reliability: RF433 is highly susceptible to interference from other devices (e.g. pilots for gates, weather stations). LoRa thanks to its "distributed spectrum" technology is much more stable

• Minimum distance of the sensor from the liquid - 10cm (0.1m)
• Maximum depth of tank - 300cm (3m)
• Sensor and display power supply - 5VDC, 1A - power supplies included
