The electronic, automatic time-volume head is a functional and reliable element of the USTM softener from the PRIMO series, which easily integrates into the home water system, making the device extremely convenient to use, allowing you to control its operation in an uncomplicated way. In the absence of power, the head settings are maintained for up to 48 hours.

Bypass valve — quick disconnection of the softener

During the maintenance of the softener or in the event of a failure, it is possible to quickly disconnect the device from the water circuit using a bypass valve, the so-called. baypass without having to interrupt access to water (only the softener has a cut off supply). HOW DOES A WATER SOFTENER WORK?

The main feature of USTM PRIMO softener is its ion exchange capacity, which determines the amount of calcium and magnesium ions responsible for water hardness.

Using ion exchange resin, the device removes calcium and magnesium ions responsible for water hardness. Water from the network flows through the ion exchange bed, where hard calcium and magnesium ions are replaced by sodium ions, making the water soft.

Operation of the device boils down to systematic replenishment of salt in tablets, which we place under the top cover of the equipment. Depending on the water consumption and its hardness, this activity is usually performed from 1-2 times a month. Remember to systematically control the level of salt during the operation of the softener, necessary for the proper operation of the device. The salt level should not be lower than 1/4 and higher than 1/2 of the height of the set.
