What distinguishes the edges of EKO-BORD from other edges available on the market?

WHY IS IT WORTH INVESTING IN THE ORIGINAL EKO-BORD EDGING?

EkoBord edging is the first lawn edging available on the market. Their production has been carried out for over 20 years, which allows them to be constantly improved and adapted to the Polish market, which can be seen at first glance.

The picture shows two types of edging:

• At the bottom of the (A) there is an original EkoBord edging - very massive, with a thick wall and resistant fastening hooks.
• At the top of (B) there is a cheap edging (differently called on Allegro, e.g. Eko, Border, Ekoborder) which can be purchased at 95% of the auctions available on Allegro. Its wall is definitely thinner, the hooks break.

Remember! The name EKO-BORD is reserved and can only be used for original edging! Therefore, when choosing the periphery, pay attention to the title of the auction.

The edges of the EKO-BORD (A) have a wide and thick beam strengthening the edging (base). Thanks to this, they settle stably in the ground and cannot be broken.

In the periphery of EKO (B), the beams strengthening the base are thin, so that any mechanical contact with the rim can cause its breaking or irreversible damage.

The wall thickness and UV addition matter when the edging protrudes above the ground. The edges of EKOBORD do not wave under the influence of the sun, they are resistant to temperature. Unfortunately, the edges of the EKO type like to wave under the influence of high temperatures, while under the influence of low they break and there is no possibility of forming them.

Practical Tips of the Edge Manufacturer:

1. Before starting work, remember to properly level the substrate.
2. The edges after installation should be covered as soon as possible so as to protect them from excessive heating by the sun's rays.
3. In the case of using EKO-BORD edging at the cobblestone, a wider foundation should be made which is under the cobblestone by a minimum of 10cm so that the nail is anchored in this foundation.
4. In the case of installation of edging at a temperature below 5°C, we recommend using an expansion gap of approx. 1,5 ~ 2,0 cm every 5 mb.
5. The height of the Eko-Bord edging should be selected according to the type and thickness of the surface.
6. Eco-Bords should be mounted so that the upper edge of the edging does not protrude above the surface with which it protects.
7. Do not mount Eko-Bord edging on slopes or in areas with a significant drop
