Faworyt GI3500 is a single-phase inverter unit designed to generate electricity wherever there is no access to the grid or an emergency power source is needed.

The device offers a maximum output power of 3,2 kW and a continuous power of 3,0 kW. It allows you to power typical household appliances, power tools, lighting, chargers, electronic equipment and equipment used on the plot, in the garage, workshop or during the trip.

Inverter technology is responsible for electronic stabilization of energy parameters. Thanks to this, the unit can be used to power many electronic devices, provided that the permissible power is respected, the recommendations of the receiver manufacturer and its inrush current is taken into account.

Faworyt GI3500 is an inverter unit.

Is the generator suitable for electronics?

Ducar DHP140 is an air-cooled single cylinder unit.

The engine does not require the use of coolant. The air flow around the cylinder and the unit components is responsible for the temperature drainage.

  • starter housing,
  • space around the silencer,
  • cooling ducts.

Do not cover ventilation openings or place the unit directly against the wall.

The engine is started with a cable starter.

Solution:

  • does not require a starter battery,
  • simplifies the design,
  • reduces the number of elements requiring charging,
  • allows you to start the unit in the field.

Before starting, you should:

  1. check the oil level,
  2. replenish the fuel,
  3. set the unit on an even surface,
  4. disconnect electrical receivers,
  5. open the fuel valve,
  6. set mechanical suction,
  7. start the engine with a cable,
  8. after heating, turn off the suction,
  9. wait before connecting the load.

The motor has suction operated by a lever.

The function makes it easier to start the cold unit by temporarily enriching the fuel-air mixture.

After the engine is warmed up, the suction should be set in the working position. Leaving it on can cause:

  • unequal work,
  • increased combustion,
  • decrease in power,
  • smoke,
  • formation of sediments on the candle.

The capacity of 141 cm³ ensures a favorable combination of:

  • adequate power,
  • small dimensions,
  • moderate fuel consumption,
  • low weight of the aggregate,

The unit is smaller and lighter than the motors used in large frame units, which makes it possible to enclose the entire unit in a compact housing.

The filter traps dust, dust and other contaminants sucked in by the unit.

Regular inspection and cleaning help:

The filter should be operated according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not start the engine without a properly installed cartridge.

The engine does not have a replaceable oil filter.

This means that it is particularly important to:

  • regular control of the oil level,
  • timely replacement of lubricant,
  • the use of the right type of oil,
  • setting the unit on a horizontal surface.

The engine holds about 0,4 liters of oil.

The manufacturer indicates SAE 30 oil. The final selection of viscosity should be adjusted to the ambient temperature and instructions.

The unit can be delivered without oil. Before the first startup, it is absolutely necessary to check its level.

Starting the engine without the right amount of lubricant can lead to serious damage to the unit.

The unit is equipped with a low oil level sensor.

The system helps protect the engine from working with insufficient lubrication. With too low a level, it can:

  • prevent the engine from starting,
  • cause it to stop,
  • indicate an irregularity.

The sensor is not a substitute for manual control. The oil level should be checked before each start of work.

The fuel tank capacity is 6,3 liters.

This allows you to work longer without refueling frequently. Actual operating time depends on:

  • the level of load,
  • type of receivers,
  • ambient temperature,
  • condition of the air filter,
  • fuel quality,
  • frequency of load changes.

The manufacturer declares a runtime of up to about six hours at 50% load.

Half of the continuous load corresponds to approximately 1500 W.

The value is indicative. Actual time may be shorter or longer depending on:

  • current power of receivers,
  • number of device start-ups,
  • weather conditions,
  • engine settings and technical condition,
  • fuel quality.

The unit has two standard single-phase 230 V sockets.

They allow you to connect two receivers or a distribution strip, as long as the total power does not exceed the permissible power of the unit.

Two sockets do not mean two independent circuits of 3000 W.

The total power of all connected devices should remain within the limits of:

  • 3000 W during continuous operation,
  • 3200 For a short time only.

The device has a 12 V DC output with an intensity of up to 8 A.

It can only be used according to the manufacturer’s instructions and intended use.

The current product card does not declare the battery charging function. Therefore, this output should not be presented as an automatic car charger.

For proper charging of batteries, it is best to use a dedicated rectifier or charger equipped with control of the charging process.

The USB port allows you to power or charge compatible devices with the right parameters, such as:

The protection reacts when the load exceeds the system’s capabilities.

It can limit or disconnect the output voltage, protecting:

After the security is activated, the following should be:

  1. disconnect the receivers,
  2. turn off the devices with the highest power,
  3. check the total load,
  4. reset the security according to the instructions,
  5. reconnect the receivers individually.

When selecting an aggregate, it is not enough to check only the rated power of the receiver.

Devices equipped with motors or compressors can draw several times more current during start-up than during normal operation.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • refrigerators,
  • freezers,
  • pumps,
  • hydrophores,
  • compressors,
  • power tools,
  • air conditioners,
  • concrete mixers.

For example, a device with a rated power of 800 W may temporarily require much more power during start-up.
