The electronic module is designed to connect the hook electrical system in cars where there are computer lighting control systems. In such cars, direct connection to the rear lamps of the 13-pin trailer socket may result in damage to the on-board computer. The use of the module does not constitute additional loads for the installation of the car because each module input is characterized by a very low current consumption of 1 mA. Each module output is protected against possible short circuits from the side of the trailer electrical system.

The module can cooperate with installations in which some car lighting circuits are implemented on a single-fiber bulb, where different lighting intensity is obtained by PWM control (variable fill factor).
