Diatomite or diatomaceous earth are organogenic rocks formed mainly from diatom shells (single-celled algae).
Diatomaceous earth is white, yellowish-white or gray. It is soft and lightweight, and can be easily ground into powder. It has low density, is porous, rough, strongly absorbs water.
Diatomite mats are mainly made of silica 60%, calcium hydroxide 30% and wood fiber 10%.

The mat is entirely made of diatomite. It's thick and stiff. It doesn't bend. You can't bend it, throw it, drop it.
Before using the product for the first time, vacuum it thoroughly to remove any dust accumulated on the surface. Then, use a slightly damp cloth to wipe the surface and remove any remaining dust. The mat is now ready for use.
Do not heat or submerge the product in water for extended periods.
If the product's surface becomes dirty, rinse it briefly with clean water. Do not submerge the product in water, and do not use organic solvents or detergents for cleaning. After washing, place it in a ventilated area to dry naturally.
Place the product on a flat surface to prevent deformation.
Avoid dropping the product with excessive force, as this may cause deformation or damage.
