Diatomite, also called diatomaceous earth, is characterized by its porous structure and high moisture absorption capacity. This makes it perfect for products used in the bathroom.

After leaving the bath or shower, the mat absorbs water from wet feet, and moisture gradually evaporates from its surface. This is not a classic soft textile rug – the mat is hard and rigid.

Thanks to the properties of diatomite, water is quickly absorbed by the surface of the mat. The manufacturer on the materials presents the process of fading wet marks within several dozen seconds.

Actual drying time may depend on m.in. from the amount of water, temperature and humidity in the room, so I would not treat visible on the graphic 45 seconds as a guaranteed drying time in all conditions.
