🌟 Types of connection

1 Connection via USB

Connect your device directly to your computer or Raspberry Pi via USB-C port. Ideal for Home Assistant users on a mini PC.

2 Connection via Ethernet

Wired connection ensures the most stable operation. Optionally, you can use the PoE splitter to power (requires a PoE splitter - USB-C).

3 Connection via WiFi

Completely wireless solution – just power via USB-C. Ideal for places where there is no access to an Ethernet cable.

💡 Coordinator Work Modes

Choosing the right coordinator mode is crucial for the efficiency of your smart home network. Below are the available options:

1. Coordinator

The coordinator acts as the central element of the Zigbee network. It is necessary for its creation and management of all connected devices. It is an ideal choice if you are building a new network or need full control over its operation.

2. Router

The router is used to extend the range of the existing Zigbee network and amplify the signal. Thanks to it, devices located further away from the Coordinator can communicate stably with the rest of the network, improving its overall reliability.

3. OpenThread

This mode is designed for advanced users who want to use the Thread protocol – modern network technology for IoT devices. OpenThread offers high security and the ability to integrate with other systems supporting this standard.

Important information: Changing the mode of operation in an active network may affect its operation. We recommend caution when making your choice.

💡 Configuration and operation

Configuration is child's play:

1. Connect your device to the network (USB/Ethernet/WiFi)
2. Go to dongle.local in your browser.
3. Follow the intuitive configuration wizards
4. You're done! The device works with Zigbee2MQTT or ZHA

Button function:

• Short press: on/off LED
• Hold 3 sec: switch between USB/Network modes
• Hold 10 sec: Reset to factory settings

LED informs about the status:

• Blue: USB Mode
• Green Lights: Connected to Home Assistant
• Green flashes: No connection
• Red flashes: Error
