Radar V7 – radar and laser detector

The V7 radar detector is a device designed to detect radar and laser speed measurements. It operates in full frequency range mode, detecting radio waves and lasers used in measuring devices.

Warning against moving speed measurements

Equipped with imported radar, the device detects signals in the full frequency range – without any gaps. Voice messages alert the driver to approach the measuring point, helping to avoid unpleasant fines and stress on the road.

Comprehensive warning in every direction

Effective detection on both the front and rear of the vehicle. The speed warning range shall be up to 800 m in front and up to 300 m in the rear. Scanning from all angles provides immediate notification of the threat – no area remains unchecked, and speed measurement is carried out without blind spots.

Tip

This radar detector is a purely radar device – intended for experienced drivers who know the route well. It is especially useful during long journeys on national and regional roads and highways.

Some fixed speed cameras emit radio waves – in such cases, the device will report their presence. However, please note that not all fixed measurement points emit a radar signal. The device does not detect crossing points or other image analysis-based systems because they do not use radio waves. Please take this into account.

The device is equipped with an imported radar and continuously receives high-frequency signals during operation. During prolonged use, the housing temperature may rise to approximately 40–45°C – this is a normal phenomenon and does not constitute grounds for complaint. If you do not accept this fact, please refrain from purchasing.

Operating temperature range: -25°C to 75°C. For long journeys, we recommend mounting the device on the included suction cup – this ensures better ventilation and heat dissipation.

Assembly and configuration

Mount the E7 on the dashboard. For best performance, place the detector as low as possible in the middle of the windshield. Make sure that the device has an unobstructed view of the road – both in front and rear of the vehicle.

Identification of bands – V7

The X-band is the first frequency band used in police radars. It operates at a lower frequency (10,525 GHz) and has a higher output power.

The K-band is the most commonly used band in road radars (24,150 GHz). Its wavelength is relatively short and the detection range is about 0,4 km, but under favorable conditions it can reach up to 3,2 km. To reduce the number of false alarms, turn on the K-band filter (by pressing and holding the CITY button), which will eliminate weaker signals in this band.

Ka-band – over the years, the Ka-band has been extended with Ka, Ka-Broadband and Ka-Band Ultra-Broadband versions. Most speed recording devices (so-called. speed cameras) uses this band.
