This universal and timeless stoneware fermentation crock with a lid is perfect for making healthy, homemade preserves and long-term food storage. The crock is completely food-safe and suitable for contact with food. Thanks to its glazed coating, it does not absorb odors, ensuring the natural taste and nutritional value of your preserves. This stoneware is ideal for tasks such as pickling cucumbers, fermenting cabbage (sauerkraut), or preparing sourdough starter for rye soup (żurek) without the need for preservatives.

The embossed design gives the crock an attractive, stylish look, featuring a decorative ring with patterns around the body. The stoneware crock includes a water seal (fermentation collar)!

A special collar or fermentation groove - is a place intended for water. Water sealing is a key natural ingredient in the fermentation process. It enables free flow of gases and effectively prevents air from entering.

The lid protects food from drying out and weathering, further minimizing the spread of the intense smell of sauerkraut. By applying the lid to the water-filled pot collar, we cut off the air supply to the inside of the barrel, thus making the food inside acquire a special taste.
