The most powerful cordless hammer drill in the YATO range is a versatile power tool designed for drilling, hammer drilling and forging. Impact energy of 3,8 J, frequency up to 4600 strokes / min and SDS PLUS mounting allow for efficient drilling and renovation works in concrete, stone or brick. The possibility of turning off the impact extends the use of the tool also to drilling in wood, metal and drilling with diamond crowns.

Brushless motor

The hammer drill is equipped with a brushless motor that ensures efficient energy transfer to the working tool and reduces the consumption of consumables associated with brushes. The maximum energy of a single stroke is 3,8 J, thanks to which the device is adapted to both making holes in hard materials and light forging.

Modes of operation

Two switches on the housing allow you to configure the tool according to the task at hand. The hammer drill offers drilling, impact drilling and forging modes, which allows it to be used in a variety of assembly, renovation and finishing works.

SDS Plus Holder

The SDS PLUS handle ensures compatibility with a wide range of drill bits and chisels designed for hammer drills. This system allows you to quickly attach attachments without the need for an additional wrench, and the grip design allows you to effectively transfer impact energy to your work tool.

Rotational speed control

The rotation speed can be smoothly adjusted by the pressure on the switch. Gentle pressing allows you to start working at a lower speed, while increasing the pressure causes its gradual increase up to a maximum value of 990 rpm. /min. In impact drilling mode, increasing the pressure on the switch simultaneously increases the frequency of the stroke. This solution makes it easier to adjust the work intensity to the type of material, drill diameter and current drilling stage, as well as precise hole execution in the desired place, without unplanned shifts, e.g. when hanging cabinets.

18 V battery power supply

Power supply from 18 V Li-Ion battery provides freedom of work without power cord. Depending on the selected version, the device is offered with or without batteries:

YT-827740 – version with 4 Ah battery and YT-827741 charger – version with 2 batteries4 Ah with YT-827742 charger – tool itself

Compatible YATO 18 V batteries can be used for power supply: YT-828461 (2 Ah), YT-828462 (3 Ah), YT-828463 (4 Ah), YT-828464 (6 Ah) and YT-828465 (9 Ah).

There is also a battery indicator on the housing, allowing you to control the available energy level during operation.

Ergonomic design

The hammer drill body is equipped with a main handle and an additional front handle, ensuring a more stable handling of the tool during drilling and forging. The arrangement of the controls allows you to conveniently change the operating mode, direction of rotation and control the speed with a switch.
