Prekė: Akumuliatorių balansatorius Victron Energy BBA000100100, 2x12V. Kategorija: Baterijų įkrovikliai.
- Gamintojas: Victron energy
- Modelis: BBA000100100
The battery balancer equalizes the state of charge of two series-connected 12V batteries or several parallel series-connected battery systems.
When the charging voltage of a 24V battery rises to more than 27V, the Battery Balancer is triggered and compares the voltage across the two strings of connected batteries. The Battery Balancer draws up to 1 amp of current from the highest voltage battery (or batteries connected in parallel). The resulting difference in charging current will ensure that all batteries are brought into the same state of charge.
If necessary, several equalizers can be connected in parallel .
A 48V battery pack can be equalized with three Battery Balancers.
- Input Voltage Range Up to 18V per battery, 36V total

Problem: The service life of an expensive battery bank can be significantly shortened due to an unbalanced state of charge
A slightly larger internal leakage current of one battery in a 24V or 48V bank of several series/parallel connected batteries will undercharge that battery and other parallel connected batteries and overcharge the series connected batteries. In addition, when new cells or batteries are connected in series, they should have the same initial state of charge. Small variations can be handled with absorption or equalization charging, but large variations will cause damage due to excessive gassing (due to overcharging) of batteries with a higher initial state of charge and to sulphation (due to undercharging) of batteries with a lower initial state of charge.
Solution: battery equalization
- The battery balancer equalizes the state of charge of two series-connected 12V batteries or several parallel series-connected battery strings.
- When the charging voltage of the 24V battery rises to more than 27.3V, the battery balancer activates by comparing the voltage of the two
- series of connected batteries. The battery balancer draws up to 0.7 A from the battery (or batteries combined
- parallel) with the highest voltage. The resulting difference in charging current ensures that the state of charge of all batteries is adjusted to
- same level.
- If necessary, several equalizers can be connected in parallel.
- A 48V battery pack can be equalized with three Battery Balancers.
LEDs
- Green: on (battery voltage > 27.3 V)
- Orange: Negative side of battery string active (deviation > 0.1V)
- Orange: positive battery string active (>0.1V deviation)
- Red: alarm (deviation > 0.2 V). This LED remains on until the deviation is reduced to < 0.14 V or the system voltage is reduced to < 26.6 V.
Alarm relay
Opened in normal state. It closes when the red LED lights up; opens when the red LED goes out.
Alarm reset
A button can be connected to the two available terminals. Interlocking the two terminals will reset the relay.
The reset state remains active until the alarm ends. Then the relay will close again when a new alarm occurs.
Get even more information and control with the midpoint monitoring feature of the BMV-702 Battery Monitor
The BMV-702 monitor measures the midpoint of a string of cells or batteries and shows the deviation from the ideal midpoint in terms of
in volts or percent. Different deviation percentages can be set for visual/audible alarm and target
closing the potential-free relay contact as a remote alarm.
Refer to the BMV-702 Monitor User Manual for more information on battery balancing.
