DESCRIPTION

BACscan® Mobile is a high-quality breathalyzer used to measure blood alcohol concentration based on the analysis of exhaled air. Thanks to the built-in Bluetooth 4.0 technology, it works with iPhone 4S running iOS7 or later, smartphones running Android 4.3 and higher. The breathalyzer is based on an extremely accurate and stable electrochemical sensor designed specifically for this device.

BACscan® Mobile transfers data to the application installed on the smartphone after measurement. The blood alcohol (BAC) value is displayed in the application after just a few seconds. During the presentation of the result, the application allows you to make a note, which together with the test result and chart can be shared via SMS, Facebook or Twitter. The results of the last 1000 measurements, along with the time, date and place where they were made, are stored in the application memory.

The BACscan® Mobile breathalyzer test can also be performed without the need for an application (e.g. in a situation where we do not have a smartphone or it is discharged). In this case, the result is presented via a diode display directly on the alcomat. [+] enlarge photo

SELF-MONITORING OF CORRECT OPERATION

BACscan® Mobile software can verify the correct operation of the sensor and the state of battery charge. The device will also inform us about the need for calibration. The BACscan® Mobile breathalyzer is designed for maximum user comfort. It is compact, lightweight and fits in any pocket. The extensive application allows you to change measurement units, set an alarm threshold, turn off sound signaling, activate camera functions and choose one of nine language versions.

The breathalyzer is calibrated and ready for operation.

In the case of branded analyzers with an electrochemical sensor, it is recommended to calibrate them at least every 12 months or before performing a certain number of measurements (depending on which condition occurs earlier).

Calibration of breathalyzers covered by the PREMIUM FREE CALIBRATION PROGRAM is performed free of charge within 12 months from the date of purchase.

Calibration is carried out in our laboratory using certified reference standards on specialized simulators from Guth Laboratories, Inc. enabling precise setting of the calibrated breathalyzer.

By purchasing a breathalyzer covered by the premium free calibration program, you not only save money, but also have a guarantee that the calibration will be properly performed by our service.

The accuracy of each breathalyzer’s indications may decrease during the normal use process. Therefore, to ensure the correct measurement, each tester should be calibrated from time to time.
