Accuracy

AlcoSense Ultra has an exhaled air analysis system from the depths of the lungs, which provides the most accurate results. In addition, sensors of the device measure pressure, flow rate and volume of exhaled air. The measurement is performed after blowing air with an volume of one liter from the lungs, which ensures that the sample is optimal for analysis. Moreover, to increase accuracy, readings are calibrated according to ambient temperature. The AlcoSense Ultra breathalyzer is equipped with the BlowCoach function, which helps the user to properly carry out the test.

Assistant

Users often have difficulty correctly entering an air sample into the breathalyzer, which can lead to incorrect results. The Ultra Breathalyzer Assistant uses advanced technology to make the test easier. If the sample is unsuccessful, ALCOSENSE Ultra will indicate the cause and propose a solution, providing problem-free subsequent measurements. Thanks to it, the breathalyzer operation becomes intuitive and easy.

Scope of tolerance

The result of each breathalyzer test is displayed with accuracy +/- X.XX reading. The smaller this difference, the more accurate the is. AlcoSense Ultra uses software, which prevents inaccuracies in the result. For this device, the tolerance range is +0,07 ‰ BAC, -0,00 ‰ BAC, which means that it only takes into account the possibility of safe overestimation of the result, which ensures that the test result will not be underestimated.

Limits

AlcoSense Ultra automatically adjusts the alcohol consumption limit to the regulations of a given country. Simply select a country from Menu and the software sets a limit according to local regulations. The program also adjusts units of measurement and BBR. In case of changes in the regulations the database can be updated by downloading new software. It is ideal for people traveling in different countries. The user can also adjust the limits according to their preferences, e.g. Setting half of the allowed limit using the Set limit option in the Menu.

Time to Sober Up

Alcosense Ultra is able to estimate the time it takes to sober up after drinking alcohol. Information about this time will be displayed in the form of messages on the screen of the device. After the allotted time, the device will automatically remind you of the need to carry out another measurement by activating the alarm icon.

Archiving results

Alcosense Ultra is an indispensable tool for safe driving. It measures the alcohol content of the body and additionally stores 128 of the latest test results along with the date and time. The results can be archived on a Windows computer using the special software available on the AlcoSense website. In addition, it can estimate sobering time and remind about the next measurement. This is more than just a breathalyzer - it is a tool that provides safety.

Backlight

The Ultra model is equipped with a backlit mouthpiece holder socket, which makes it easy to place even in low light. This solution increases the convenience of use in different lighting conditions. In addition, ALCOSENSE Ultra allows you to use both professional mouthpieces with air flow return lock, which eliminate the risk of air sample contamination, as well as standard mouthpieces.

Temperature range

Using a breathalyzer at the wrong temperature can lead to incorrect results due to the momentary effect of temperature on the sensor. AlcoSense Ultra protects the user by informing about the operation of the device outside the safe temperature range (5°C~40°C). This means that the breathalyzer will not perform the test when the temperature is not within this range, eliminating the risk of incorrect results.
