No contact with the mouth

AlcoBlow breathalyzer is a device for quick and simple detection of the presence of alcohol in the exhaled air, operating without contact with the mouth (measurement without mouthpiece). It is used by the police for preliminary examinations of a large number of people in a short time, for example, drivers in road traffic. The device provides transparency of measurements and is safe for both the person conducting the test and the person being examined. It is often used in smaller and larger companies.

Operation

The LION LABORATORIES AlcoBlow breathalyzer is equipped with an electrochemical sensor, which ensures high precision of measurements. The device allows you to take about 5 000 measurements on one set of batteries (4x AA 1.5 V), which makes it extremely economic in use, because it does not require the use of mouthpieces. In addition, the time of preparing the breathalyzer for work is about 5 seconds, and the measurement itself also takes about 5 seconds. Thanks to these features, AlcoBlow is fast, convenient and economical to use.

Modes of operation

The AlcoBlow breathalyzer offers two modes of air sampling: active, activated when the test person blows air with the appropriate force, which activates the air intake system, and passive, activated with the PASSIVE button, used when the test person cannot or does not want to provide the appropriate air sample. Passive mode is also used to test the contents of containers if there is a suspicion that they contain alcohol. AlcoBlow is equipped with two buttons and two three-color LED indicators, which clearly determine the state of the examined person and limits of alcohol concentration.
