Carbon cartridge (block). It is designed to work with 20” Big Blue in-line bodies.

The cartridge is made of sintered activated carbon, which removes from water from 98% to 99% of free chlorine, chloro derivative solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons (improves the taste and smell of water), as well as up to 85% of pesticides of chloro derivative origin, multiaromatic compounds, phenol, benzene and organic substances.

Sintered coal has a much larger specific surface area, as well as the number of active centers and thus approx. 25% higher usable efficiency compared to other carbon cartridges. In addition, it is possible to filter mechanical impurities up to 3 microns in grain size. The cartridge is especially recommended for surface water treatment (e.g. from the Vistula).

The cartridge is designed for the treatment of cold drinking or general use water. Cartridge life from 3 to 6 months (depending on the quality and quantity of filtered water).

The cartridge should not be used for microbiologically contaminated water and unknown origin. In order to extend the life of the cartridge, a body with a mechanical cartridge of the S-PS series should be installed in front of the carbon cartridge body.
