Ceramics Bolesławiec

The production of Bolesławiec ceramics has been carried out manually for years. Original ceramics are made of natural, high-quality clays. The mass is created with the addition of raw materials such as quartz, sand, water, feldspar or kaolinite. The resulting stoneware mass is formulated into appropriate shapes, and then burned 12 hours at a temperature of 800 degrees Celsius. After this process, the ceramics are painted and decorated by hand using brushes and stamps. At this stage, symmetrical and aesthetic patterns characteristic of Bolesławiec ceramics are created. Then the decorations are protected with enamel and placed again in the oven for 12 hours. Thanks to these processes, ceramics are extremely resistant to high temperatures and washing with dishwashers.
