The Istel HR-2000 ECG recorder is a small and easy-to-use (one-button measurement) medical device with an ergonomic shape that records ECG signals and transmits them via Bluetooth to mobile devices such as e.g. smartphone or tablet. The recorder detects the ECG signal by applying it to the chest. It is equipped with four widowed electrodes that allow to obtain 6 leads (I, II,III,aVR,aVL,aVF). It works on exactly the same principle as devices used in hospitals, but thanks to its compact dimensions it allows you to independently perform an ECG examination wherever you are and at any time. The recorded results, on the other hand, allow for their subsequent analysis by a doctor and can be used as a source of information about the patient’s health. The Istel HR-2000 ECG recorder communicates wirelessly via Bluetooth. It has six leads - I, II, III, aVR, aVL, aVF and the ability to set the sensitivity of electrodes and the measurement frequency. In addition, it has an automatic shutdown function.

Before the first use, carefully read the instruction manual and follow the instructions contained in it at each measurement.

Before the first measurement, download the free Istel ECG application for a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet.

Before Measurement

Before measuring, make sure the electrodes are clean. In case of dirt, wipe them with a soft cloth dampened with alcohol for disinfection. Alcohol for disinfection can only be used to clean electrodes.

Launch the app and turn on the recorder.

Connect your devices via Bluetooth and proceed to measure.

Measurement

Apply the Istel HR-2000 recorder with electrodes directed to the chest at the height of the sternum at its central point directly on the skin. The switch should be pointing upwards. Make sure the electrodes are in direct contact with the skin. Improper contact of the electrode with the skin will signal the application in the mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc. ).

If all electrodes are in proper contact with the skin, the measurement begins automatically. The phone/tablet display shows the ECG. Stay calm during the measurement. Any movement, including speaking, coughing or sneezing, can affect the measurement result.

The measurement will be completed after 30 seconds unless the test time has been set differently.

Put the recorder away from the skin and record the measurement result.

Turn off the device.

Do not use the product:

if you have an implanted pacemaker;

with the simultaneous use of a defibrillator;

in the presence of combustible anaesthetics, medicines or oxygen under pressure (e.g. in a hyperbaric chamber, UV sterilizer or oxygen tent;

Do not take measurements:

by clothing,

on moist skin,

if the device is exposed to a strong electromagnetic field or static electricity,

while driving.

Do not use contact gel.
