The PF-431 automatic phase switch is used to maintain the continuity of power supply of a single-phase receiver in the event of the disappearance of one of the power supply phases or a drop in parameters below the norm.

Action

three-phase voltage (3 × 230 V+N) is supplied to the switch input. The output of the switch is directed single-phase voltage (230 V AC), i.e. phase voltage of one of the phases. The electronic system of the switch controls the voltage values of the supplied phases so that the output voltage is not less than 195 V. The phase with the correct parameters is directed to the output of the switch. The illumination of the corresponding green LED signals the switch output to switch on a given phase. The L1 phase is a priority phase, i.e. that if its parameters are correct, this phase will always be switched on to the output. In the event of a voltage drop in phase L1 below 190 V or its disappearance (green LED L1), the electronic system will switch to phase L2 output (if its parameters are correct). In the case of simultaneous lack of correct voltage in phases L1 and L2 (green diodes L3 and L2 are extinguished), the output will be switched on to phase L3. In the case of return of the correct voltage of the power supply in the L1 phase (above 195 V), the system will switch this phase to the output.
