The APM-20 automatic phase switch is a device whose main task is to maintain the continuity of power supply to a single-phase receiver when the phase disappears or the value of effective voltage falls below the norm. The main advantage of the device is a small relative voltage measurement error not exceeding 1% even for highly deformed waveforms. This was achieved through the software implementation of the True RMS converter. The APM-20 is powered by three phases L1, L2, L3 with the L1 phase being a priority phase. The voltage switching threshold (180 V AC), switching time (150 ms) and voltage hysteresis (10 V AC) are factory set without the possibility of changing by the user. LEDs on the front panel illustrate the parameters of each phase. The internal system of output contacts provides increased resistance to their bonding and protects against interphase short circuit. The maximum output load capacity should not exceed 16A for receivers in AC1 class. APM-20 is designed for installation in switchgears (TH-35). The housing occupies the width of 2 modules.
