The camera has the ability to activate HDR 30FPS mode, which significantly increases the readability of key elements in the most difficult conditions. Most often, the benefits of using HDR mode are visible on night recordings, which have a limited number of burns visible on bright elements, which greatly improves readability. Importantly, HDR mode is available for each module and can activate automatically, according to the schedule set by the user (Auto HDR).

The wide 140° viewing angle perfectly captures everything that happens in front of the vehicle. The bright F/1.8 lens combined with advanced image processing algorithms guarantees great results even at night.

✅Excellent rear camera with 2.5K HDR

The rear camera module complements the evidence also about what happened behind the rear window. Regardless of whether we are talking about internal modules with A329S or external ones with A329W, the rear camera is equipped with a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 converter, which is able to record good-looking 2,5K materials with Auto HDR. The declared viewing angle is 160° and the lens brightness is F/1.8

Parking Modes in VIOFO A329S/T/W

1. Low-Bitrate Parking Mode - A reliable mode that will record absolutely all events while the car is parked. In Low-Bitrate mode, the camera records continuously, but with a slightly reduced image quality.
2. Time-Lapse Parking Mode - Similar to Low-Bitrate mode, the camera records continuously, but the image is time-lapse. Depending on the settings, the camera records from 1 to 10 frames per second, saving videos in fast motion. This mode also aims to maximize the available space on the memory card. In timelapse 1fps mode, night mode can be enabled, which noticeably brightens recordings made in complete darkness.
3. Auto Event Detection Parking Mode - A motion and shock detection mode in which the dashcam records a video file only when it detects motion, impact, or shock.
4. A hybrid combination of one of the above active modes with low power mode - the camera starts recording as Low-Bitrate / Time-Lapse / Auto Event Detection and automatically switches to low power mode with only shock detection, based on the set timer (from 30 minutes to 48 hours with settings every 1 hour) or after reaching the set voltage level*.
5. Low Power Mode (Low Power Impact Detection) - Shock detection, long-term operation, at the cost of a lower level of protection.

In the set with the camera we already get a polarization filter, which improves the quality of the recorded material, thanks to the reduction of reflections of the dashboard and increased visibility through the windows of passing vehicles.
