R amplifiers offer the best performance in their class, redefining expectations from compact power amplifiers. Applying the principle of technology adaptation from higher models, our in-house engineering team in R amplifiers has applied many of the already patented X and PDX series amplifier technologies. R amplifiers in their class provide the widest possible frequency response, the best signal-to-noise ratio, the lowest distortion level and the highest attenuation coefficient

These products have been developed and tuned for a perfect fit and extremely dynamic and realistic sound reproduction and space effect. With Alpine R-Series amplifiers, you can enjoy high-resolution Hi-Res sound with up to 45 kHz frequency with incredible clarity and dynamics. These flagship furnaces have been designed and tuned with the utmost precision and use of the highest quality materials, while maintaining a reasonable price and compatibility with all cars.

All this without losing enormous power...

The new R series also features a hi-input with auto-start function implemented by RCA sockets: this means that it is enough to connect a signal running to the speakers in the car, and the amplifier will automatically start and turn off when voltage is detected and its disappearance.

Also fits under any factory radio that does not have a separate output for the amplifier!

The R-series line of speakers, subwoofers and amplifiers is characterized by excellent sound quality that can be heard from afar, and the newly added amplifiers are no exception. In addition to best-in-class performance, these amplifiers are tuned to emphasize the characteristics of the R-series speakers and subwoofers for a legendary listening experience. Compared to previous models, they take up 15% less space and are easier to install.

In this R-series amplifier, we have implemented some of our best amplifier technologies, including high-performance transformers, high-quality, low-noise capacitors, and dual “Sierra” low-distortion feedback/correction circuits. Whether you're playing music files in high definition or standard resolution, you can always count on the superior sound quality of this amplifier.

The 4-channel Alpine R2-A60F amplifier offers 100W RMS per channel at 4 ohms, which perfectly matches the rated power of the new R-series speakers from Alpine. You can also use this versatile amplifier in 3 channel mode by driving a pair of speakers on the front channels and bridging the rear channels to send up to 300W RMS to the subwoofer. Advanced Class D amplifier technology has made it possible to build a powerful amplifier, but small enough to fit in almost any place.

The R2-A60F has a reduced housing that is 15% smaller than the previous model (R-A60F), making installation in vehicles easier than ever, while maintaining the same performance.

Simplified installation

The amplifier implemented design solutions that consolidated all speaker connections on one side of the housing to provide easy access. The amplifier controls have been moved to the top of the device under a removable plate to provide convenient access to the gain and crossover controls. To simplify the installation process, the mounting brackets are integrated into the amplifier housing.

Double modulation feedback loop

When playing music, a clean, distortion-free low-power input signal should remain the same at the amplifier output going to the speakers. In fact, most amplifiers are not even slightly able to approach the ideal, instead adding audible distortion (especially in the high frequency range) typical of Class D amplifiers, which are characterized by poor sound quality. R amplifiers with dual modulation feedback loop circuitry provide intelligent power that is clean and distortion-free as much as possible. In real time, they analyze and correct errors between the input and output signals not once, but twice. In this way, R amplifiers deliver a clean, clear and powerful sound. You have to listen to believe.

If you play music under heavy load for a long time, the system automatically reduces power a bit for the first time if it is insufficient – for the second time. This two-step solution allows you to play music without interruptions.

Control and tuning

The control potentiometers located in the shielded part of the R2 amplifier make installation and tuning easier than its predecessors. Convenient access to all the elements needed to tune the amplifier. The small size and versatility of the potentiometers allows for easy configuration of the system depending on your needs.

High-pass filters remove extremely low tones from full-range speakers, so they will work more efficiently. If you plan to use the R2-A60F to support subwoofers, you can adjust the low-pass filters to get the right bass tone. And best of all, you can configure filters for mid-pass operation, so you can use this amplifier to power tweeters and midrange speakers, and use a separate amplifier such as the matching Alpine R2-A75M 750W or R2-A150M 1500W to power the subwoofer.

Bass Level Controller (RUX-KNOB)

Just add RUX-KNOB2 (sold separately) for full control of the bass from inside the vehicle. With a single controller using a cable, you have the ability to control multiple amplifiers.
