The 5-channel S-Series S2-A55V amplifier delivers 60W RMS at 2 ohms of pristine high-quality power to each of the car’s front and rear speakers, while powering the subwoofer with up to 300W RMS. Combining the power of a Hi-Res Audio-enabled amplifier in a 4-channel section and the added bass power from a dedicated channel brings your music to life, with all the precise details, powerful punch, and clearly revealed emotional power.

For a 3-channel 2 way system, you can also use an amplifier to drive a pair of high-performance front speakers with power of 120W RMS each, while powering a 300W subwoofer. Variable bass boost in a dedicated channel allows you to get additional punch and low-frequency sound power in the system.

You can even add an optional RUX-KNOB2 wired remote control to control the level of the rear channels from the front seat.

Basic-level sound has just been improved with the 5-channel S2-A55V amplifier. Its sleek, redesigned design incorporates a class D Alpine amplifier circuit and offers Hi-Res Audio support.

High-pass and low-pass filters provide control over the frequency spectrum reaching the speakers and subwoofers. The amplifier includes preamplifier and speaker level inputs, so it can be installed in almost any vehicle, even one with a factory radio. When using speaker inputs, the amplifier can detect the incoming signal and turn on, eliminating the need for a separate switching cable to the receiver or fuse box.

Hi-Res Audio Certificate

The 5-channel next-generation Alpine S-Series S2-A55V amplifier is Hi-Res Audio certified and capable of reproducing frequency responses up to 40 kHz. This ultra-wide bandwidth combined with the improved design of the S Series sets new standards for entry-level performance and price.
