ATTENTION:

In the newer Volkswagens (after 2015) other radio connection systems have appeared, e.g. MIB (Modular Infotainment System), which differs from the classic Quadlock. If you have a model after 2015, it is worth checking physically whether it is still a 52-pin Quadlock or another connector (e.g. MIB2, which requires special adapters).
